Bwlch with Altitude, Fortitude & Magnitude! Walking breaks in the Brecon Beacons ...for 2012 events see details in right hand panel
'Bwlch with Altitude' is an energetic 12 mile circular walk with 360 degree views of Llangors Lake.
You will climb two hills - thats the altitude bit - starting and ending at the hospitable bunkhouses and pub in Bwlch (pronounced Boolkh).
Bwlch with Fortitude was launched in 2011 and is a 7.5 miles circular walk joining the villages of Bwlch, Cwmdu & Tretower.
Watch the video to give you a flavour of the Fortitude walk!
You will travel through the Neolithic, Iron, Roman, Medieval and Victorian ages which are evident by the monuments and buildings left by people from the past.
Most of the walk is on quiet country lanes and old drovers roads with the last section travelling through fields and over small streams.
